Role: Apprenticeship Data Analyst


Hours: 36.25 Hours per week


Salary: £25,260 – £25,896 per annum


Employer Pension Contribution: 20.8% (£5,072.20 – £5,199.91)


Location: The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) – MIS Systems and Business Intelligence team


The Role

Join our MIS Systems and Business Intelligence team as a Data Analyst Apprentice, creating impactful reports, queries, and dashboards that support decision‑making across the College. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, deliver great customer service, and complete a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship as part of the role.


About You

You’re curious, proactive, and eager to grow your skills in data and reporting. You enjoy solving problems, working with data, and supporting others. You’re comfortable learning new technologies and are motivated to deliver high‑quality work.


You’ll have an eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate reports, dashboards, and analysis. You’re confident communicating with a range of staff and stakeholders — whether by email, phone, or in person — and you take pride in offering excellent customer service.


You’re someone who likes understanding how systems work, exploring data sources, and helping colleagues use reports effectively. You’re organised, able to follow a full project lifecycle, and committed to testing your work thoroughly.


You’ll be flexible during busy periods, happy to support key college processes, and keen to develop professionally through ongoing training and your Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship. Above all, you care about contributing to a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment for staff and students.

In certain cases, it may be appropriate to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade at the discretion of the Director of HR & Performance due to the candidate’s current salary, experience or qualifications.
