This is the brains behindSky Mobile performing the real-time rating and charging functionfor Skys 3.5m+ subscribers. What youll do Provide L2 / L3 supportfor Amdocs OCS application Work closely with Sky OCS Design andDelivery, 3rd party vendor (Amdocs) and other departments acrossSky Incident and Problem management (Spark) of OCS issues Suggestimprovements. Co-operate to develop, coordinate & see themthrough to deployment Generate ideas with the team and participatein improvement of standards Document all operational processes andestate details within the internal WIKI (Confluence). On callsupport What youll bring Computer science related honours degree orequivalent qualification or relevant experience Extensive anddemonstrable experience of mobile telephony product catalogue,accounts and billing systems Understanding of 3GPP specificationstandards and protocols and telecom call flows Understanding ofcontainerisation and orchestration Experience of working in or withagile development teams Understand the business and provisioningsystems for Mobile service (BSS/OSS) Strong skills in Unix / Shellscripting Knowledge of Database Management, Postrgres or Oracle SQLpreferrable Understanding of CI/CD Strong communication andanalytical skills Be organised and focused around the siftwaredelivery lifecycle (SDLC) Team overview Network to BusinessIntegration (N2BI) owns and manages systems and infrastructuresupporting Skys mobile and fixed telephony, broadband and IP corenetworks. N2BI act as an intermediary service function for allbroadband and telephony fulfilment, assurance, rating and billingfor other departments within Sky.N2BI works closely with otherdepartments across Sky to provide voice applications to supportSkys fixed and mobile telephony businesses including billing, fraudmanagement and regulatory compliance . This includes drawing upbusiness cases for new proposals and defining their benefits,overall programme management for designated projects and liaisonwith other areas of IT, networks, voice engineering and theOperations centres to ensure effective delivery.Responsibility alsoincludes aspects of the architecture, service design and managementof the Online Charging System and other aspects for the PolicyControl & Charging Architecture (PCCA) used by the Sky Mobileservice.
