The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our team for an Annuity Product Data Analyst. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Annuity Product Manager to deliver insightful commercial analysis whilst supporting product pricing processes and strategies.


You will take ownership of key financial metrics, ensuring accurate reporting and providing meaningful insight and challenge to inform decision‑making across the wider team. Your responsibilities will include regular annuity pricing and monitoring financial market trends to maintain competitiveness and profitability.


This is a high‑impact role where your analysis and recommendations will directly shape pricing strategies and influence commercial outcomes across the business.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Analysis & Pricing



  • Undertake analysis and drive pricing processes to ensure our annuity products are market competitive, while identifying trends and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Contribute to product pricing strategies and market positioning to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Maintain oversight of pricing processes and present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and commercially focused manner.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration



  • Work with the wider team to support product development and ad‑hoc business requirements.

Performance Reporting



  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and insights.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience



  • Experience in a commercial or financial role within financial services.
  • Proficiency in financial analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable



  • Knowledge of life and pensions products.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies.

Location: The preferred location for this role is Stirling (Hybrid 2 - 3 days per week in the office)
