Who we are looking for

State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is the data-as-a-service provider that is the back bone of the Alpha front to back strategy. Combining both technology and service provision to deliver significant data management value to our clients. We're looking for a candidate to lead our ADS, Analytics team.

Strategic translation of client and market requirements into data technology and operations requirements

Work in close partnership with the ADS Technical Data Architect, Data Solution Architect and Practice Leads to strategize, develop, evolve the Alpha end to end Data Services. Utilise business knowledge to translate current and future business requirements into data technology and operational requirements Drive, own and review key data domains strategies for security, analytics, price, account and other key data domains Collaborating and coordinating across multiple clients, departments, stakeholders, partners and external vendors to ensure coherent data strategy/service Liaise with ADS technical architect, solution architect and specific practice areas to ensure smooth translation of strategy through various life cycles into established data service offerings and standard delivery to clients Liaise with Alpha Platform, ADP and other technical partners to ensure technical requirements are understood to support the delivery of data service strategy Strategy and operational model oversight into the Alpha Data operations model and delivery. Supporting Global Delivery by designing services in-line with technology, structure and strategy Ownership of strategy direction and design for key integrated partners for Analytics, Market Data, Benchmark Services etc. Drive the Alpha Data Service ongoing strategy organically driving change and stepped change into new offering and data service commercialisation

Education & Preferred Qualifications

University degree in the field of computer science, data management or other financial services technical field CFA Qualifications 15+ years in data management, product and market data roles and responsibilities
