Algorithm Engineer – Defence/Aerospace

Join a specialist team developing advanced algorithms at the core of next-generation Autonomous Systems, Guided Weapons, and ML-enabled defence technologies.
You’ll contribute to high-impact programmes across the full engineering lifecycle — from early-stage research and feasibility studies through to development, trials, and in-service enhancement. Focus areas include navigation, guidance, tracking, sensor/data fusion, and machine learning.
Key requirements:

Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for algorithm development and simulation
Degree or PhD in a technical discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
Experience in one or more of:
Autonomous decision-making and control systems
Navigation, estimation, or tracking algorithms (e.g. Kalman filtering, SLAM)
AI/ML, including real-time implementation and model validation
Verification & validation of complex algorithms in mission-critical systemsWhat’s on offer:
