Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a highly skilled AI Scientist to join their cutting-edge team. This role will focus on the development, implementation, and productionization of advanced AI and machine learning models to solve complex challenges in the pharmaceutical space.

Required Skills/Experience

Advanced proficiency in Python and experience working with database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Graph).

Proven expertise in at least 3 of the following domains:

Generative AI: Experience working with LLMs, transformer models, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, LangChain. Computer Vision: Strong background in image classification and object detection. MLOps: Hands-on experience putting models into production within the AWS ecosystem. Optimization: Expertise in production scheduling, resource planning. Traditional ML: Experience in time series analysis, anomaly detection, and high-dimensional data analysis. Strong background in software development, algorithms, and optimization techniques. Experience productionizing ML/Gen AI services and working with complex datasets in a real-world environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and ML models, with a focus on Generative AI, Computer Vision, MLOps, Optimization, and Traditional ML techniques. Work with large-scale, complex datasets to develop AI solutions that address key challenges in pharmaceutical research, production scheduling, and planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models in the AWS ecosystem using tools like SageMaker, Bedrock, and LangChain. Drive end-to-end AI development, from model training to production deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Apply your expertise in Python and proficiency with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, TensorFlow/PyTorch to build robust AI solutions. Contribute to the organization's AI strategy by identifying new opportunities for optimization, innovation, and efficiency in pharmaceutical processes.
