The Account Executive will play a crucial role in expanding our partnerships with new business entities. The purpose of this role is to drive the growth of our partner network by identifying  potential partners. The role involves working closely with the SDR and Marketing team to generate revenue for the new business team  by converting qualified leads and Demos. An AE will be expected to work with the Head of New Business to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.

 

The role - what you'll do:

  • Convert leads into new Dext customers
  • Develop & demonstrate consultative selling techniques
  • A drive to meet and exceed targets
  • Create a great first impression & provide a world class service
  • Self-sufficient, independent and highly motivated
  • Self generate a set number of Demos per month
  • Prospect via Zoom lists, Salesforce and LinkedIn/ Sales Nav



Goals & Objectives

  • Meet the targeted revenue goal each month.
  • Achieve the designated number of calls monthly.
  • Reach the specified email quota per month.
  • Attain the set number of self-generated demos monthly.

Skills Requirements 

1. Relationship Building:

  • Rapport Establishment: Quickly build strong relationships with potential partners, creating a foundation for successful deal closure.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills during negotiations, effectively addressing concerns and building consensus to close deals.
  • Closing Strategies: Employ effective closing strategies to secure agreements and commitments from potential partners.

2. Communication Skills:

  • Value Articulation: Clearly and persuasively articulate the unique value proposition of DEXT in a way that resonates with potential partners.
  • Active Listening: Listen attentively to potential partners to understand their needs and concerns, adapting communication strategies accordingly.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, ensuring a coordinated and unified approach in communicating the company's strengths and offerings.

3. Result Orientation:

  • Deal Closing Targets: Set and achieve targets for closing deals, ensuring they align with the company's revenue and growth objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate resilience and creativity in overcoming obstacles that may arise during the deal-closing process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Constantly seek ways to optimise the deal-closing process, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

4. Adaptability:

  • Agile Approach: Quickly adapt to changes in the business environment or shifting dynamics during deal negotiations, adjusting strategies to secure successful outcomes.
  • Innovative Deal Structures: Explore and propose innovative deal structures to address the unique needs and preferences of potential partners.
  • Learning Orientation: Stay abreast of industry trends and evolving best practices in deal closing, continuously refining skills and approaches.

Essentials

  • Applies knowledge of SaaS / tech to day-to-day roles.
  • Experience engaging with a wider range of stakeholders, tailoring your communication style accordingly
  • 3+ years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets
