The Part You’ll Play as Account Director

As an Account Director, you will take the lead on an exciting global FMCG brand full of purpose, driving fully integrated campaigns that resonate with consumers and align with the brand’s mission. You’ll oversee the strategic direction, ensuring creative work is powerful, purpose-driven, and delivers across all channels, including TVCs, digital, and social media.

You’ll work closely with both the client and internal teams to deliver campaigns that not only elevate the brand but also reflect its core purpose. In this role, your strategic thinking, leadership, and ability to deliver TVCs and purpose-led work will be key to driving success.

Specifically, duties will include:

  1. Serve as the strategic lead for the account, shaping and executing integrated campaigns across TV, digital, and other key channels.
  2. Build and nurture senior-level client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and the key point of contact.
  3. Provide strategic guidance to both creative and client services teams, ensuring campaigns are compelling, purpose-driven, and on-brand.
  4. Drive the development of purpose-led work that aligns with the brand’s mission and resonates with audiences.
  5. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  6. Collaborate with senior leadership on growing the account and identifying new opportunities for agency growth.
  7. Lead and mentor account teams, ensuring they are motivated, supported, and equipped to excel in their roles.

A bit about you & your previous experience

  1. Extensive experience in an agency setting, ideally as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager overseeing large, integrated campaigns.
  2. Proven success managing TVCs and purpose-driven work, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  3. Strong strategic planning abilities, with a deep understanding of purpose-led marketing and how to connect it with commercial objectives.
  4. Excellent client relationship management skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders on a global scale.
  5. A natural leader, able to inspire and mentor teams while driving performance and delivering results.
  6. Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring smooth campaign execution.
  7. Experience managing complex, multi-market campaigns and working with stakeholders across different time zones.
