  • Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lead Analyst within the Data Insights Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s data-driven strategy. This position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, enabling you to deliver high-impact analytics while mentoring others and fostering best practices. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate complex data into actionable insights, helping to elevate analytical maturity and embed a culture of data-driven decision‑making.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and execution of complex analytical projects, ensuring outputs are robust, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards and data models to deliver actionable insights.
  • Apply advanced DAX, SQL, and/or Python skills to transform data, automate processes, and perform deep‑dive analysis.
  • Translate analytical findings into compelling narratives and visualisations tailored to diverse audiences.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted analytics partner.

Governance & Best Practice

  • Ensure all analytics outputs adhere to data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Promote responsible data use and contribute to the development of reusable data assets and templates.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata.

Leadership & Team Enablement

  • Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, supporting their development through coaching, code reviews, and feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performing team culture.
  • Contribute to the development of a Centre of Excellence by promoting best practices in coding, modelling, and data storytelling.
  • Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and insight generation.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will possess the following –



  • Strong proficiency in DAX, SQL, and/or Python, with experience applying them to solve business problems.
  • Skilled in developing and optimising Power BI dashboards and data models.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and modelling principles (e.g., star schema, dimensional modelling).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud‑based data platforms (desirable).
  • Strong grasp of data governance principles and their application in day‑to‑day analytics work.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, mentor others, and drive continuous improvement.
