Roleand responsibilities The DLT Science Foundation (DSF) is lookingfor data scientist who can: - Gather, review and summarise academicliterature related to the research topic of interest - Developmethodologies for creating scientific measures across thecryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem - Collect and process dataand information related to the research topic of interest - Writeblog posts on research studies conducted by members from theFoundation - Perform peer review and draft reviewer’s report -Participate in research seminars - Participate in research projectsfocusing on quantitative indicators among cryptocurrencycommunities and other DLT related subjects - Develop ML/NLP methodsto be used to extract and process information in the context of DLT- Develop code, tools, and methodologies with regards to thecryptocurrency related projects Skill requirements The idealcandidates are expected to have the following qualities: - Priorresearch and development experience - Programming skills (Python,SQL) - Database management experience - Good comprehension andabstraction skills - Grit and persistence - Reliability -Independence - Knowledge of statistics, time series analysis, andnetwork theory is beneficial - Genuine interest in research on DLTand experience working with Big Data - Experience with AWS(desirable) The position is suitable for candidates looking to getmore experience in the field of research and development ofinnovative methods in DLT.
