About the job The Data Analyst role is a part of theInsight & Analytics Team. This team sits within our Operationsdepartment & is part of the Data & Business IntelligenceTribe. The Data Analyst will work with data from a wide range of ITplatforms and teams from across operations and wider business teamswithin HelloFresh UK and Global HelloFresh teams. This role will beexpected to work with data throughout its whole life cycle fromsystem creation through to data extraction and finally intomarket-leading data visualisations for our operational end dataconsumers to use. You will work closely with several Senior DataAnalysts within this team. You will have already developedexperience as an information professional with well-developedtechnical skills in analysing datasets and presenting informationin an impactful manner. You will have experience working with datavisualisation tools such as Tableau and a strong basic skill set inscripting languages such as SQL. You will have had experience ofhow to coordinate the delivery of high quality, timely and accurateinformation, to end business data consumers. You will have a goodunderstanding and knowledge of best practices in data quality &input standards, ETL & data transformation stages as part ofthe analytics life cycle. You will be expected to workindependently with other team members to scope out requirements& designs, whilst then converting these into highly automatedBI applications. What you will be doing: ● Developingspecifications, developing and building automated analyticaldashboards using market leading analytical software tools ● Buildbase level data ETL processes using scripting languages such asSQL. ● Independently problem solve data issues when reported bydata consumers, and provide automated analytical solutions ●Support Insight & Reporting Manager Senior Data Analysts indeveloping and ensuring adoption of consistent data terminologiesin both data structures and reporting outputs across the business ●Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements:automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designinginfrastructure for greater scalability, etc. ● Deliver high-qualitydata insight applications in visualisation applications usingTableau ● Develop data models with support from the Senior DataAnalysts Data Architects ● Support development of data sets via theData Architect in Snowflake and collect data requirements fromstakeholders within the UK & Global tech teams ● Build anddevelop effective SLA KPI monitoring dashboards which areproactive. ● Work with global technology teams whendevelopingunderstanding data models required for analyticalreporting solutions Who you are: ● 3+ years of proven experience indata analytics using data visualisation software in a similarfast-paced commercial environment. ● Qualification or provenexperience in using Tableau ● Experience with relational SQLdatabases ● Strong analytic skills related to working withstructured & unstructured datasets. ● Experience of deliveringautomated solutions for reporting insight applications, and drivingquality in data inputscapture methodologies. ● Experience ofdeveloping analytical solutions using a range of tools and datamodellingtransformation techniques ● A successful history ofmanipulating, processing and extracting value from datasets. ●Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in adynamic environment. ● Experience with data modelling andrelational databases ● Exposure to working in a CICD environment. ●Experience in working with business stakeholders on data problems,translating their expertise into data solutions. ● Strongproblem-solving skills, taking ownership of business problems andcreating lasting solutions. ● Experience in defining & buildingreportinginsight products in a business environment ● Desirable:Experience with cloud infrastructure, e.g., AWS (S3, EMR, Glue,Athena, Snowflake) ● Desirable: Experience working in an Agileenvironment and using tools such as Github Jira What you will getin return: ● 70% discount on HelloFresh or Green Chef boxes ●Bippit financial wellbeing account ● Premium Headspace account ●Group Life Assurance ● Cycle to work scheme ● Eye care scheme ●Company pension scheme ● Gym membership ● Bupa private medicalinsurance (including dental) ● If in the office, enjoy a freebreakfast every day ● Dog friendly office!
