About the Role We are seeking a GenAI SoftwareEngineer to join our AI Innovation Team, focusing on building andmanaging the Generative AI platform for PatentSight+. This roleinvolves tackling large-scale engineering challenges in the cloudand leveraging cutting-edge LLMs and toolchains to solve userproblems across the board. We're after creative, self-motivatedindividuals with experience in building large-scale platforms,data, and machine learning. You’ll collaborate closely with datascientists, product teams, and stakeholders globally to driveforward innovative solutions. Responsibilities: - Design, develop,and maintain high-quality, reliable software solutions to supportthe Generative AI platform. - Collaborate closely with otherdevelopment teams, data scientists, and subject matter experts tointegrate GenAI functionalities into scalable software systems. -Ensure all software aligns with security standards and follows SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) processes. - Optimise theplatform for large-scale operations while continuing to innovateand incorporate new GenAI capabilities. - Implement and fine-tuneGenerative AI models to address specific user needs, improvingperformance and reliability. - Work on cloud infrastructure toensure seamless deployment and operation of the AI platform. -Monitor and enhance software performance to ensure stability andefficiency at scale. - Stay updated with advancements in AI andmachine learning technologies, applying them to enhance platformfeatures. Qualifications: - Demonstrate knowledge and hands-onexperience with Python and its associated toolchains for softwaredevelopment. - Proficient in designing, building, and runninglarge-scale platforms with experience in distributed systems. -Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with provenexperience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications. -Demonstrate understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.- Familiarity with modern programming languages, specificallyJavaScript and TypeScript for backend development. - Experiencewith front-end frameworks, particularly React. - Experience withMLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases) forseamless machine learning model deployment and monitoring. -Understanding and hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies,particularly Large Language Models (LLMs). Nice to Have: -Experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex, vector databases (e.g.,FAISS), fine-tuning models on domain-specific data. - Exposure topatent data or intellectual property markets. - Experience withSQL, ETL processes, and data orchestration tools (e.g. Azure DataFactory, Talend).
