We are looking for a highly skilled Redshift SQL Database Engineer with expertise in stored procedures, debugging, test-driven development, and Redshift user & account management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust database functionality, supporting application performance, managing user accounts, and overseeing code migrations across environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Redshift SQL Database Expertise: Possess expert-level knowledge and a minimum of 6 years of experience with Redshift SQL Database and stored procedures.
Stored Procedures Debugging: Exhibit advanced skills in debugging stored procedures.
Test-Driven Development: Understand and apply test-driven development concepts to stored procedures.
Application Support: Provide software application support under the guidance of the Senior Engineer.
Functionality Analysis and Improvement: Analyze software application functionality and recommend enhancements.
Database Functionality: Ensure the effective database functionality of applications.
Code Migration Management: Manage code migration across different environments to maintain synchronized functionality.
Error Analysis and Escalation: Identify root causes of application errors and escalate significant concerns as needed.
Configuration Changes and Updates: Keep detailed records of configuration changes and schedule application updates.
Process Documentation and Monitoring: Document processes and monitor application performance metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong proficiency in Redshift SQL, stored procedures, and debugging.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) for stored procedures.
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
Experience in code migration across multiple environments.
Familiarity with cloud-based application support.
Job Information Qualification: Any Degree
