PhD Studentship: Advancing Bayesian machine learning methods for precision medicine applications in Type 2 diabetes
This PhD studentship focuses on developing Bayesian machine learning models to improve treatment selection in Type 2 diabetes using large-scale electronic healthcare records. The research will address methodological challenges in precision medicine, such as handling uncertainty and confounding in observational data. The project is part of the MRC-funded GW4 BioMed3 Doctoral Landscape Programme and involves interdisciplinary training and collaboration.
