Job Title: Spatial and Data Analyst Graduate
Salary: Basic salary of £28,000 plus Veolia benefits
Additional premiums for

  • London location (+10% on top of your basic salary)

    Programme Duration: 2-year programme

    We are currently looking for a talented Spatial and Data Analyst Graduate to join a large data and analytics function within a leading Environmental company. You will be surrounded by like minded people who are all trying to achieve similar goals. As a business we are making more and more decisions based on data and you can play a big part in helping us to achieve our growth objectives. You will work on large municipal tenders identifying the most optimal solutions for deploying our resources as per the requirement specification.

    What you'll be doing;

    Model a variety of resourcing scenarios for municipal waste collection and street cleansing tenders as part of the Group Development Team
    Use GIS software to spatially analyse LLPG / OS Addressbase / ITN to determine key KPIs
    Adapt established SQL queries and reports to gather required business data for further analysis
    Combine results into Excel models to predict waste flow over time and calculate resource levels
    Engage with local operational teams and colleagues to gain insight, feedback, and improve processes
    Constantly evaluate the process identifying ways to improve
    Support Spatial and Sustainability Managers with data collation and analysis
    Work with Digital Transformation Team to review data from frontline operation
    What we're looking for;

    Degree education in GIS/Geoinformatics/Computational/Mathematics/Data/Analytics (to be achieved by September 2025)
    Able to work independently as well as a part of the team
    High problem-solving skills
    Proactive and forward-thinking
    Driver's Licence (willingness to get one)
    Willingness to travel
