About

Avencia are partnered with a leading global specialty insurer company, who are looking to recruit a Delegated Account Technician in their London office. The team offer hybrid working, coming into the office 2-3 times a week.

You'll be joining a growing function of Delegated Account Technicians and Data Analysts, led by the Delegated Authority Data Manager. Their focus is on analysing and processing bordereaux into downstream systems-offering a fast-paced, supportive workplace with plenty of scope to build your technical and insurance knowledge.

The role

Ensuring timely and accurate bordereaux processing, maintaining high-quality data standards
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues
Monitoring data quality, binder terms, bordereaux receipts, and financial performance
Escalating unresolved data issues or performance concerns appropriately and promptly
Working closely with Credit Control to manage written vs signed premium variances
Actively participating in team activities including stand-ups, weekly meetings, and both remote and in-person collaboration
Engaging with brokers and cover holders to drive data quality improvements at source

Skills & experience

Previous experience within insurance, ideally with exposure to bordereaux or commercial lines
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to SLAs and meet KPIs
Confident communicator with a solutions-focused mindset
Comfortable working with data and contributing to team success in a collaborative setting
