Working with panel and first-party data in over 80 countries, we have the world’s fastest growing cross-media measurement footprint, underpinned by versatility, scale, technology and expertise, to drive long-term business growth for our clients and partners.

Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: London

Work pattern: Full time/Permanent/Hybrid working

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our London office. We operate in a hybrid capacity and require 2 days in the office. All applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.

Role Description:

We’re looking for a data scientist who thrives on solving complex, real-world problems using data—and wants to have a meaningful impact on the future of media.

This role sits at the heart of cutting-edge audience measurement research, where you'll help shape how the world’s leading broadcasters, advertisers, and platforms understand and connect with audiences. You’ll work on high-

impact initiatives that drive innovation across the media ecosystem, including:

  • Integrating large and diverse datasets from panels, census-level sources, digital platforms, and global partners.
  • Developing GPU-powered algorithms for high-performance modelling at scale.
  • Exploring applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) in media and measurement contexts.
  • Designing and implementing machine learning solutions that enhance our product capabilities and operational intelligence.

As part of a collaborative and technically strong team, you’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and fellow scientists. We value initiative, curiosity, and real-world impact—this is a great fit for someone who wants to build, experiment, and push boundaries in applied data science.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and optimise statistical and ML models for integration into production workflows.
  • Explore and apply LLMs and emerging AI techniques to enhance media and audience measurement use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model deployment is robust, scalable, and aligned with product goals.
  • Investigate large datasets to discover trends, resolve inconsistencies, and support high-quality insights.
  • Contribute to code reviews, design sessions, and documentation to maintain best practices in model development.
  • Take ownership of project areas while working in a collaborative, face-to-face, and iterative development environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong foundation in applied mathematics, statistics, or machine learning.
  • Experience building and deploying models in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Comfort working with large and complex datasets, including data wrangling and exploratory analysis.
  • Experience (or strong interest) in GPU-powered model development (e.g. using PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on real-world projects.
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to share ideas, take feedback, and collaborate effectively.
  • A master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (or equivalent real-world experience in data science or analytics).
  • Bonus: experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Working with Marketing Mix Models (MMMs)
  • Practical applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) or NLP
  • Understanding of web technologies and identifiers (e.g. cookies, device IDs, MAIDs, etc.)
