The location of the role is Paddington, London (hybrid working).

The duration of the contract is 8 months.

The pay rate on offer is £300 - £350 per day (via Umbrella agency).

The client is a multinational high-street retailer.

Business area: Food Packaging

Key accountabilities and measures

  • Provide analytical support and reports based on data research and analysis to the Compliance Team to drive data consistency and accuracy
  • Resolve commercial and technical queries for all stakeholders and provide appropriate commentary to ensure clarity on root cause and avoid any reoccurrence
  • Deliver efficient analytical reports and insights through data research and analysis to support the Compliance Team in driving data submissions accuracy
  • Effective co-ordination of data gathering processes to ensure alignment with external and internal reporting requirements
  • Collate and maintain data reports within agreed standards
  • Liaise internally and externally with departments, suppliers, and compliance agencies
  • Ensure timely transfer of raw sales data and packaging information from different business areas
  • Assist compliance team with data verification for reporting and ensuring data declarations completed and submitted to schedule
  • Monitor and audit data quality and report any issues to key stakeholders
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions to improve the processes and ways or working.
  • Ongoing training to confidently work with the business’ systems GMOR, SAP, PLM, FIND, Business objects, etc.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries with reporting from the compliance agencies
  • Prepare written responses to routine enquiries
  • Raise any system issue logs with Tech support and ensure resolution the completion
  • Raise Purchase Orders and maintain the Compliance Invoicing tracker for the function.

Key skills and experience

  • Excellent knowledge and practical skills of Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and other Microsoft Office programs - Power BI
  • Ability to simultaneously manage, prioritise and deliver multiple projects/priorities on time
  • Strong delivery focus with great attention to detail, routine process, and completion of tasks.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of digital and data skills
  • Confident and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Takes initiative and comfortable working autonomously
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with own team, across functions and channels
