About the Role

We’re seeking a skilledInvestment Data Analystto join our team, supporting a major financial services client. This role is instrumental in strengthening investment data frameworks, improving data integrity, and aligning with evolving regulatory expectations. You’ll work at the intersection of regulatory compliance, data quality, and technology, enabling data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of investment data across a variety of asset classes includingfixed income instruments, swaps, and derivatives

  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy and completeness to supportregulatory reporting requirements

  • Collaborate with data governance and compliance teams to enforcedata policies and standards

  • Interface with investment platforms to extract, transform, and validate investment-related data

  • Provide technical support for data queries, audits, and ongoing projects related to market, pricing, and custodial data

  • Contribute to the design and implementation ofmodern data management solutionsto support business and regulatory need



RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working withinfinancial services, particularly ininvestment data analysis

  • Expertise in handling complexfinancial security/asset data, including derivatives and structured products

  • Familiarity withinvestment platformssuch asAladdin or Murex

  • Proficient inSQL and Pythonfor data querying, analysis, and automation

  • Strong grasp ofdata governance principlesand industry data standards

  • Ability to interpret market and custodial data for business and compliance use

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in asset management, investment operations, or regulatory reporting

  • Hands-on experience with data quality tools or data cataloging platforms

  • Experience working in agile project environments or data transformation programs

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or data-driven environment. Strong knowledge of data analysis tools, system design, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Proficiency in [list tools/software, e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Jira, Confluence]. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience as a Scrum Master is a plus.
