We are partnering with a high-growth, international reinsurance firm to appoint a Chief Data Officer (CDO) - a newly created, strategic leadership role at the heart of the business.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a firm-wide data strategy in an organisation where data is seen as a true differentiator - powering insights, enhancing client experience, and enabling innovation.

It would be well-suited to someone who is already operating in a leadership role in the Loyd's of London marketplace i.e. as a Head of Data (or similar), and is looking to step into a C-level role.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and deliver a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business and revenue goals
Own and evolve the enterprise-wide data model to support analytics and seamless tech integration
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and deliver high-impact insights across financial forecasting, segmentation, and carrier analysis
Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance
Enable the use of AI and big data technologies in collaboration with innovation and tech teamsWhat We're Looking For:

Experience in the Lloyd's of London marketplace
Proven experience in data strategy, governance, and analytics leadership
Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate data into business value
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the insurance sectorBenefits:
